Question

What is the difference between Vaser and Body Tite and which procedure would you recommend?

Answer

The difference between Vaser and Bodytite is in the type of energy used to break down the fatty tissue, and with that the implication of temperature changes in the tissues. Vaser uses ultrasound energy and Bodytite uses radiofrequency.

The increased local temperature when using Bodytite triggers more collagen production and has the ability to help with the skin suspension in the healing process.

From my experience though, if the texture of the skin is very thin and wrinkled, the problem will not be solved using Bodytite, and I believe this is one of the frequent misrepresentations regarding the capabilities of this technique.

There is no doubt that surgeons around the world have been able to achieve good results with the treatment using either technology, and the skill of the surgeon is as relevant as the technology in obtaining this result.
