Question

I had undergone gynecomastia surgery 2 years ago but still, a lump, continues to be under both the nipples. There is no pain or any other side effect.

What should be my future course of action, do I need to undergo surgery again?

Is it fat or a gland and how can I get rid of it?

Answer

From your description, I am assuming that your treatment was using liposuction rather than open surgery. If this is the case, the remaining lump under each nipple represents a combination of breast tissue and fibrous tissue (scar tissue) from the surgery.

Depending on how significant this volume is, it may be possible to reduce it through local anaesthetic surgery or it may require sedation or general anaesthesia.

It would also involve a scar placed on the areola below the nipple for access.
