Question

Is it possible to get vaser liposuction on the lower cheeks? Below my cheekbones I have a pouch of fat that pudges outwards when I smile. I have a BMI of 19 and have done exercise but nothing can move it.

Answer

It is possible to use liposuction to the lower part of the face and jawline for volume reduction. In general terms, I approach this aspect of facial contouring using 3-D imaging and simulation to understand the degree of change that you would like to achieve.

Based on these considerations, it is possible to determine whether liposuction alone is the best course of action or whether a combination of liposuction and buccal fat reduction from the deeper layer of fatty tissue in the cheeks would be a better management plan.
