Question

i have had several nhs operations on my nose, I was born with hare lip and cleft palette.

I have never been happy with my nose and am considering another surgery. I would like almost every aspect of my nose changed, the bridge, and tip. The left and right profile of it is completely different to. Can this be archived or am I asking the impossible?

Answer

In some instances, increasing the support of the nasal framework with the rib cartilage grafts allows more advanced shape changes. They never reach a point of producing perfect symmetry, whether in the context of cleft lip or not.

I would be happy to see in consultation and discuss your requirements using computer imaging and simulation, to get a better understanding of what it is you would like to achieve and therefore to be a will to advise you more specifically regarding points that I feel are achievable and points that are not.
