Question

I am looking to have a neck lift. Unfortunately I am not a simple and straightforward patient. I have had extensive maxilliofacial surgery in the past and I have a 60mm scar on the right hand side of my neck just under the jawline where a titanium basket had to be removed because of infection.

Consequently the skin on the right hand side of my neck is tighter than on the left hand side and makes my neck line look uneven. I therefore require a surgeon who is able to correct this. Are you able to correct this sort of problem?

Answer

As you have suggested, this is not an easy problem to improve.

In some instance, a first procedure using fat transfer can soften the tissues made tighter by scar and facilitate further surgery.

It is not realistic to give you advice without a formal consultation though.
