Question

I have marfans syndrome and I am currently on warfarin and also considering rhinoplasty. How would you reduce my chances of excessive bleeding?

Answer

Unfortunately, it does sound like it would be preferable to refrain from surgery.

Alternatively, it is possible to change from warfarin to an injectable product that is more controllable, but I think the best approach is to evaluate whether non-surgical rhinoplasty could contribute in your case and if not to avoid having surgery that is not essential for your health.
