Question

One of my eyes Is smaller and thinner than the other and my nose slants of to the side making my face uneven.

I'm only 16 and have a rare condition and because of how I look I feel very unconfident.

Answer

In terms of facial asymmetry, I would like to reassure you that it is universal, and that even the most beautiful faces, if they are not touched up in photographs display remarkable degrees of asymmetry.

This also means that asymmetry and beauty can coexist, and you should try to focus also on enhancing the strong points of your facial aesthetics, not just to be worrying about the aspects that you dislike.

With regards to surgical interventions, it is possible to evaluate using computer imaging in 3-D what it is that could make an improvement as far as your aesthetic concerns, but I have to say I would not proceed to surgery before the age of 18.
