Would you say alar batten grafts to fix nasal valve collapse is a relatively simple procedure?

Answer

In principle, placement of alar batten grafts is relatively straightforward, but the analysis of the source of "collapse" of the nasal valve areas can be misleading. Ultimately, the targets of the intervention are both functional and cosmetic, and the foundation of the treatment plan is an evaluation of both these aspects.
