Does the breast have to be a certain size to allow for fat transfer?
There is no stringent requirement for the preoperative size of the breasts, when contemplating fat transfer documentation.
However, the degree of augmentation achievable with fat transfer is by nature limited. To some extent the preoperative size of the breasts and some of the characteristics of the skin will influence the shape achieved either by fat transfer or breast implants.
3-D imaging for the chest has become more advanced, and to some extent could assist with defining the target in terms of shape and size, and therefore allow you to have a better appreciation of technical aspects involved, with regards to achievable changes, type of surgery best suited and associated risks and recovery period.
