Is it safe for me to continuously have filler in the tip of my nose?

Question

Is it safe for me to continuously have filler in the tip of my nose? If I decide to have rhinoplasty in the future would the skin flap be compromised (thinner)?

I have been happy with past results of filler and would be happy to have filler yearly, but is this advisable long term?

Answer

I have not come across any evidence to suggest that the hyaluronic acid-based fillers produce a thinning of the soft tissues.

As such, I feel that it is possible both to carry on with non-surgical treatments and to switch to surgery at the point in time convenient to you.
