Is there a maximum age you would recommend the buccal fat removal be carried out? I am 47 and have had chubby cheeks for ever, would like to reduce the volume.

Answer

I don't think there is specifically a maximum age for buccal fat reduction, although the impact of the surgery changes somewhat as we age.

I would be happy to see you in consultation and evaluate using computer imaging and simulation in 3-D what are the desired changes, and advice you regarding the intervention or combination of interventions more likely to provide results along those lines.
